Background
The aim of the project was to further improve the visual dissemination of European statistics by promoting the exchange of best practices, supporting regular training of ESS experts, developing common guidelines and sharing of visualisation tools.
Throughout this project the sharability was a top priority, and based on the joint expertise in the ESS, an inventory was produced. It should be noted that solutions change rapidly in this domain, so while the inventory was very useful as the starting point for the subsequent work in DIGICOM Work Package 2, it is unlikely to well represent the present situation.
After the initial inventory, all tools were discussed from the shareability perspective, and the project created and delivered many sharable visualisation exchanges.
