A key need expressed by many researchers at the European Statistics in Support of Researchers workshop concerned easiear access to microdata. 

Therefore, as a follow-up action, a microdata access communication kit was developed.

This kit consists of:

• a promotional slide deck - including several PowerPoint variants, as well as a video version - informing researchers about the possibility for them to access Eurostat metadata,
• an upgraded (more didactic) user guide for the system whereby researchers apply for access to microdata.
