Eurostat will present the draft guidelines which were prepared under the Work Package 2 of the ESS Vision 2020 ADMIN project. The WG is requested to approve the draft guidelines.

ESS Guidelines on Temporal Disaggregation

In line with the orientations by the DIMTE/ITDG at its meeting of 22/23 February, the Task Force on Temporal Disaggregation will present the draft guidelines on temporal disaggregation. The WG is requested to approve the draft guidelines in view of consulting further domain specific WGs.

Results of the ESSnet Validat Integration

The final report and the deliverables of the ESSnet Validat Integration will be presented (finalised version of the methodological handbook, Standard report structure, Cost/benefit of scenarios of the Business Architecture).

The   Task Force on Validation has completed its work and will present its final report.
Eurostat will present the next steps of the project.

Eurostat will present the possible standards for ESS Validation (Methodological handbook, Validation report structure, VTL). The WG is invited to  discuss about the possible next steps for endorsing and implementing the standards in the ESS.

Eurostat will report on recent activities in confidentiality and micro data access, including European public use files, SDC tools, confidentiality charters and new microdata sets for scientific purposes. The  General data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its implications will also be briefly introduced
