Public microdata for EU-SILC have moved

The public microdata (Public Use Files) for EU-SILC have now moved from the project environment to the Eurostat production envirnoment: http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/microdata/public-microdata.

Gradually more data will become available (more countries and more years). Access no longer requires registration.

For each country and year (2012, 2013) the data are grouped in four files: Household Register (D), Personal Register (R), Household Data (H) and Personal Data (P). A detailed description of the variables is available on page 78 of this document.

Please note that the files do not not contain flags as they have no clear interpretation in the situation that the idividual data are based on a model.

You can download the files in CSV-format zipped per country (each zip file contains the four files for the years 2012 and 2013). You can also download all available files by selecting 'all files'.
