The main objective of this survey is to obtain primary information to get to know the dimension of the non-remunerated work carried out by households, the distribution of family responsibilities in the household, the participation of the population in cultural and leisure activities, the use of time by special social groups (young people, unemployed, old people, etc.) with the objective that they formulate family policies and gender equality and estimate the satellite accounts in the household sector.

This statistical research facilitates obtaining information on the percentage of people that carry out an activity over the day, average daily time (in hours and minutes) dedicated to an activity by the people who carry it out, the distribution of activities in an average day by type of day (working or weekend) and the percentage of people who carry out the same activity at the same moment in the day (daily activity rhythms).
